Aditya Singh joins Carnelian Asset Management as head of Marketing

MUMBAI: Carnelian Asset Management and Advisors has appointed Aditya Singh as its head of marketing, marking his return to the asset management sector after a year at Abu Dhabi-based Cohesion Asset Management.

Singh brings experience spanning asset management, wealth management, brand strategy, product marketing, digital, social media and go-to-market execution. He will be responsible for strengthening Carnelian’s brand and marketing function as the investment firm builds its next phase of growth.

Singh joins Carnelian after serving as lead marketing at Motilal Oswal Asset Management Company. He had held the role since August 2025, following more than two years as vice-president of marketing at the same firm.

During his earlier stint at Motilal Oswal Asset Management, Singh led brand and marketing initiatives, with responsibilities spanning brand marketing and sales performance.

Before that, he spent about a year as vice-president at IIFL Wealth, where he worked on marketing. He subsequently moved to Cohesion Asset Management as head of marketing in October 2024 and remained with the firm until July 2025.

Carnelian said Singh’s experience in building marketing functions from the ground up would support the company’s efforts to develop its brand and market presence.

The appointment comes as asset managers increasingly place greater emphasis on brand building, digital engagement and sharper product communication to reach investors across a wider range of channels.

Singh holds a Master of Business Administration in marketing from the International School of Business & Media, which he completed between 2010 and 2012.

With his latest move, Singh returns to Mumbai and takes charge of marketing at Carnelian, bringing experience from both asset and wealth management to the firm’s growth agenda.
