Consumer business veteran to lead innovation, expansion and transformation of Godrej Jersey
MUMBAI: Godrej Agrovet is milking fresh leadership for its dairy business. Godrej Agrovet has appointed Gaurav Pande as chief executive officer of Creamline Dairy Products Limited, tasking him with leading the company’s next phase of growth across South India.
Pande will focus on strengthening the company’s market position, accelerating business transformation, driving product innovation and expanding the reach of the Godrej Jersey brand across key markets.
Creamline Dairy Products, which operates under the Godrej Jersey brand, is among South India’s largest private dairy companies, with operations across Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Tamil Nadu and Karnataka. The company manages an integrated dairy value chain and offers products including milk, curd, paneer, buttermilk, flavoured milk and ghee.
“I am honoured to join Creamline Dairy Products Limited at a time when India’s dairy sector is witnessing significant transformation, driven by evolving consumer preferences, increasing demand for value-added products, and greater emphasis on quality and nutrition,” said Gaurav Pande. He said the company would focus on accelerating innovation, enhancing consumer experiences, expanding its footprint and building a future-ready dairy business.
Pande brings more than 22 years of experience across the foods, quick service restaurant and consumer durables sectors. Most recently, he led the launch and expansion of an international quick service restaurant brand in India, overseeing its growth from market entry to operational scale. Earlier in his career, he held leadership positions across multiple consumer categories, where he worked on premiumisation, innovation, market expansion and profitability.
Godrej Agrovet said the appointment aligns with its strategy to strengthen Creamline Dairy’s leadership as demand for value-added dairy products continues to grow. The company expects Pande’s experience in building consumer businesses and leading large-scale transformations to support the brand’s long-term expansion.
Backed by eight integrated dairy plants and a milk powder facility in Ongole, Godrej Jersey has been part of the dairy industry since 1986. Following its integration with the Godrej brand, the company has focused on modernising its identity while expanding its portfolio through innovation, premiumisation and nutrition-led dairy products.
