TVS Motor CMD Sudarshan Venu’s FY26 pay rises 48 per cent to Rs 64.22 crore
FY26 pay package stood at 436 times median salary as TVS posts strong financial year
MUMBAI: The wheels of success turned faster, and so did the pay cheque. As TVS Motor delivered another year of strong financial performance, executive remuneration also moved into a higher gear, with Chairman and Managing Director Sudarshan Venu receiving a 48 per cent increase in pay during FY26.
According to the company’s annual report, Sudarshan Venu received a total remuneration of Rs 64.22 crore in FY26, up from the previous financial year. His package included Rs 9.87 crore as salary and perquisites, along with a Rs 54.35 crore commission. His total remuneration was 436 times the median remuneration of the company’s employees.
TVS Motor chairman emeritus and managing director Venu Srinivasan earned Rs 3 crore during the year, a 200 per cent increase over FY25. His remuneration amounted to 20 times the company’s median employee salary.
Meanwhile, TVS Motor director and chief executive officer K N Radhakrishnan received a total remuneration of Rs 29.09 crore, comprising Rs 6.19 crore in salary and perquisites and Rs 22.90 crore as commission.
The annual report also highlighted broader salary trends within the company. The median remuneration of employees increased 6 per cent during FY26, while salaries of employees other than managerial personnel rose by an average of 13 per cent. Managerial remuneration, however, recorded a sharper average increase of 44 per cent.
As of 31 March 2026, TVS Motor employed 6,850 permanent employees.
The remuneration disclosures come against the backdrop of another strong financial year for the two-wheeler maker. TVS Motor reported Rs 37,702.37 crore in revenue from automotive vehicles and parts during FY26, while profit from continuing operations stood at Rs 1,648.81 crore, reflecting sustained demand and healthy business momentum.
