Hinduja College partners ASCI to strengthen responsible advertising education
MoU brings certified learning, research and industry exposure to future communicators.
MUMBAI: Advertising is all about making the right impression and this partnership is aiming to leave one in the classroom before it reaches the marketplace. K.P.B. Hinduja College of Commerce has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Advertising Standards Council of India (ASCI), strengthening academia-industry collaboration to prepare students for the evolving world of responsible advertising and communications.
The agreement, signed by Prof. (Dr.) Navin M. Punjabi, Principal of K.P.B. Hinduja College of Commerce, and Namrata Bachani, Director, ASCI Academy, seeks to blend academic learning with practical industry exposure through education, training and collaborative research.
Under the partnership, the college will promote ASCI-certified learning programmes, webinars, research initiatives and consumer awareness activities. In turn, ASCI Academy will provide students and faculty access to e-learning courses, industry interactions, Faculty Development Programmes (FDPs) and collaborative research opportunities.
The initiative is designed to equip students with industry-relevant skills while fostering a deeper understanding of ethical advertising practices at a time when responsible communication is becoming increasingly important across the marketing ecosystem.
The collaboration also aligns with K.P.B. Hinduja College of Commerce’s broader focus on experiential learning and industry readiness, reinforcing its efforts to produce professionals who combine academic excellence with ethical decision-making and real-world business perspectives.
Backed by the Hinduja Foundation, the partnership reflects a shared commitment to creating future-ready talent by connecting classroom education with the changing demands of the communications and advertising industry.
