AuviTran expands AES67 audio networking with new 128-channel interface launch
AxC-AES67-128 aims to simplify large-scale broadcast and AV workflows globally
MUMBAI: Here’s a tune that tech engineers will want on repeat: more channels, less chaos. As demand for high-capacity networked audio systems grows across broadcast and live production sectors, AuviTran has unveiled a major upgrade to its Audio ToolBox platform with the launch of its AxC-AES67-128 interface at InfoComm 2026.
The new module, showcased on the stand of US distribution partner Synthax, delivers a significant leap in AES67 networking capacity, supporting 128 input and 128 output channels at 48kHz. Shipments are scheduled to begin in July 2026.
Designed for increasingly complex audio environments, the AxC-AES67-128 is aimed at broadcast studios, theatres, live event production, cinemas and large-scale AV installations where high channel counts and reliability are critical. The system is intended to reduce the need for multiple devices and conversion layers by consolidating workflows into a single modular platform.
A key feature of the interface is its embedded asynchronous sample-rate conversion technology, which ensures smooth audio transmission between devices operating on different clock domains. According to AuviTran, its eASRC system delivers conversion with less than 0.1ms of added latency, helping maintain timing accuracy in demanding production environments.
The device supports a wide range of industry standards including AES67, RAVENNA, SMPTE ST 2110-30 and ST 2022-7, along with NMOS IS-04 and IS-05 protocols for modern network control and interoperability.
Speaking on the launch, AuviTran general manager Xavier Allanic said, “The AxC-AES67-128 gives Audio ToolBox users considerably more room to build, bridge and expand AES67 infrastructures from a single modular platform. Beyond its 128-channel capacity, its embedded eASRC provides the swift sample-rate conversion needed to keep audio moving reliably between different clock domains.
