NEW DELHI: In a move that signals bigger ambitions beyond routine corporate bookings, Ziptrrip has acquired HelloTravel Online Private Limited, strengthening its footprint in the fast-growing business leisure and MICE (meetings, incentives, conferences and exhibitions) segments.

The acquisition marks the AI-powered corporate travel and expense management platform’s first buyout in just three years of operations and underlines how aggressively the company is scaling its play in India’s travel ecosystem.

Founded under parent firm Wayfarers Technologies, Ziptrrip says it has already facilitated more than two lakh trips across 650-plus corporates, building its reputation on automated bookings, policy-led travel management and AI-driven cost optimisation tools.

With HelloTravel now joining the journey, Ziptrrip gains immediate access to a sprawling network of over 7,000 verified travel partners, destination management companies (DMCs) and hospitality players spread across more than 10,000 destinations.

HelloTravel, which has been in the travel space for over 18 years, also brings with it a sizeable community of over 1.5 million organic followers and a marketplace featuring more than two lakh experience-led travel packages.

The deal is expected to give Ziptrrip stronger execution muscle in MICE and experiential travel categories where personalisation, coordination and on-ground delivery matter just as much as pricing.

“HelloTravel brings deep partner relationships and destination expertise built over years, which allows us to expand meaningfully into MICE and business leisure,” said Ziptrrip’s co-founder and CEO Shan Prabhakaran.

Ziptrrip’s co-founder and COO Rishabh Agarwal, added that HelloTravel’s extensive partner ecosystem, combined with Ziptrrip’s AI-led infrastructure, would help deliver more customised and reliable travel experiences.

As part of the acquisition, HelloTravel will continue operating as a wholly owned subsidiary of Wayfarers Technologies. While its founders will exit the business, the existing team will remain in place to ensure continuity across operations and partner relationships.

For Ziptrrip, the acquisition is more than just adding destinations to a map. It is about stitching together a full-stack corporate travel ecosystem from bookings and expense management to conferences, incentives and curated experiences at a time when companies are increasingly looking for smarter and more integrated travel solutions.

And in the business of corporate travel, Ziptrrip clearly believes the next big upgrade is not just about moving people but moving experiences too.
