NOIDA: Adobe has opened a new office in Noida, marking another step in its expanding India strategy as the software giant doubles down on artificial intelligence, design tools and digital innovation.

The new campus, located in Sector 129, becomes the company’s seventh office in India and its third in Uttar Pradesh. It brings together more than 700 employees working across engineering and customer-focused roles, strengthening Adobe’s growing talent base in the country.

Speaking on the development, Adobe India country manager and senior vice president Document Cloud Abhigyan Modi said the move reflects the company’s focus on AI-led transformation. He said, “As the world is transformed by AI and agentic technologies, Adobe is at the forefront, reimagining what is possible and shaping the future of innovation. Our mission to empower everyone to create remains central to this shift, with our teams in India playing a critical role in advancing Adobe’s AI-driven future.”

The workplace has been designed as a collaboration-first environment built for the AI era, according to Adobe India head of employee experience Swati Rustagi. She said, “The new Adobe office represents our focus on creating an environment where people can do their best work. The office space is designed to inspire through connection, conversation and teams coming together. Every aspect of the campus fosters co-creation and collaboration, bringing our people together to unlock their full potential.”

Sustainability has also been built into the project, with the Noida facility earning IGBC Platinum certification from Indian Green Building Council. The building features energy-efficient systems and environmentally responsible design, aligning with global green workplace standards.

Adobe first began operations in India in 1997 as an engineering R&D hub and has since grown into a core driver of its global product innovation. Today, India is the company’s largest workforce base outside the United States, with over 8,000 employees contributing to more than a third of its global innovation output.

The company has also been stepping up its AI and education push. In February 2026, it announced free access to tools such as Firefly, Photoshop and Acrobat for students across accredited institutions. It also partnered with Airtel to offer Adobe Express Premium to 360 million users in India.

Leadership changes have further strengthened its India strategy, including the appointment of industry veteran Manoj Kohli to its international advisory board. The company has also expanded its India leadership team with Shamik Basu and Manoj Nagpal taking on senior roles.

With its new Noida office, Adobe is clearly signalling that India is not just a support base, but a central engine powering its global AI-driven future.
