Ducati India promotes Amit Chauhan to head of marketing
A decade in, and the brand’s longest-serving marketer is just getting started
NEW DELHI: Amit Chauhan is not new to Ducati India. He has spent ten years inside the brand, working his way up from marketing consultant to, now, head of marketing. The promotion marks the latest chapter in a career that has been defined, almost entirely, by one company and one unmistakable red motorcycle.
Chauhan announced the development on LinkedIn, thanking colleagues across India, Asia-Pacific and Italy for their support over the course of a decade. He most recently served as marketing manager at Ducati India before the elevation.
His journey with the brand began in 2016, when he joined as a marketing consultant. Over the years, he steadily absorbed responsibilities across marketing and communications, building a profile rooted in digital communication, content, experiential work and strategy across automotive and lifestyle brands.
Before Ducati, Chauhan cut his teeth at Blogworks between 2013 and 2016, starting as a content writer on projects for Harley-Davidson India, Sennheiser India, Mahindra Rise and The Energy and Resources Institute. He was later promoted to senior executive, handling client servicing, content planning, campaign execution and communications work, primarily for Harley-Davidson India and Sennheiser India.
Ten years. One brand. Now the top marketing seat. For Chauhan, the new chapter is less a leap into the unknown and more the logical destination of a very deliberate ride.
