Infosys completes Optimum Healthcare IT acquisition to boost digital push in US
Deal strengthens AI-led healthcare transformation across cloud, data and services
MUMBAI: Infosys has completed its acquisition of US-based Optimum Healthcare IT, marking a strategic move to deepen its footprint in healthcare digital transformation and strengthen its AI-led services portfolio.
The deal, announced on 25 March 2026 and now finalised, brings Optimum Healthcare IT’s healthcare provider expertise into Infosys’ global delivery ecosystem, particularly across the US healthcare market.
Infosys said the acquisition reinforces its commitment to expanding capabilities in the healthcare provider segment, where demand for large-scale digital transformation continues to grow. The company highlighted that the integration will help deliver measurable outcomes across complex clinical and operational environments.
Optimum Healthcare IT is recognised as a Best in KLAS healthcare digital transformation and consulting firm, known for working closely with provider organisations on large transformation programmes. Its addition is expected to bring new client relationships and deepen Infosys’ presence in the healthcare ecosystem.
The acquisition also strengthens Infosys’ AI, cloud and data capabilities through integration with its proprietary platforms Infosys Topaz and Infosys Cobalt, enabling more end-to-end transformation offerings for healthcare providers.
Together, the two companies aim to accelerate AI-powered healthcare modernisation, combining data-driven insights with cloud-first infrastructure to improve patient experience, enhance operational efficiency and optimise costs across healthcare systems.
Infosys said the combined offering will support large-scale transformation initiatives across provider networks, focusing on personalised, data-led care delivery and improved system performance.
Optimum Healthcare IT brings strong ecosystem partnerships, including Elite status with ServiceNow and collaborations with major technology platforms such as Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure and Workday.
With the acquisition now complete, Infosys is positioning itself more firmly in the global healthcare transformation space, aiming to combine domain expertise with advanced digital capabilities to drive the next wave of AI-led healthcare innovation.
