Ravi Gupta no longer B4U CEO
MUMBAI: B4U Television Networks, which runs B4U Movies and B4U Music channels in India and has a global presence in over 100 countries, is witnessing a change at the top. B4U Worldwide CEO Ravi Gupta ceases to hold the post anymore.
A company statement says change is being instituted at the helm “to add a fresh approach, dynamism and vigor to the image and functioning of the network.”
The exact circumstances surrounding Gupta’s departure were not clear at the time of filing this report. Information available with indiantelevision.com indicates that someone is likely to be brought in from outside to head the network, an announcement around which is expected in due course.
Gupta, who had been CEO since the network started operations in 1999, was unavailable for comment as he is currently in London.
A company spokesperson said the network’s business strategy is being reshaped and adequate resources would be made available to trigger a series of activities to sharpen its on-air content, distribution and brand communication.
B4U Television Networks is a Mauritius registered firm that has Lakshmi Mittal, Gokul Binani, and Kishore Lulla as its promoters.
