Quizzing, partying at Ad Club event today
MUMBAI: It promises to be an evening of fun, games and partying. The Advertising Club of Bombay’s M.AD Quiz 2003 takes place today, 12 December at the City Studio at Kamala Mills in Lower Parel, Mumbai. The action starts around 7 pm.
The quizmaster for the event will be Derek O’Brien. The quizzing has been segmented into one round of eliminations that would happen prior to the event being thrown open for the audience. Two rounds of semi-finals comprising four teams each would follow the eliminations. Two winners from each round of semi-finals would then make it to the finals. The finals would comprise of six rounds that would include audio-video and audio rounds.
Star’s Radio City is the presenting sponsor. The other sponsors are news channel Aaj Tak and Amaron Batteries.
In addition, there are big prizes in store for the participants, courtesy Levi’s, Pantaloons, Godrej, Sansui and Kodak. Royal Challenge and Foster’s will make the drinks flow.
Channel (V) VJ’s will add further chutzpah to the event by offering the audience a taste of the real thing through an on-the-spot quiz and prizes. One of the highlights of the evening would be 22-year-old musical prodigy Raghav Sachar, who promises to captivate the audience with his command over 22 musical instruments.
Entries have been received from Madison, Zenith Media, Lowe, O&M, Nicholas Piramal, Leo Burnett to name a few.
