TiECon India meet to introduce entertainment session for the first time
MUMBAI: The New Delhi Chapter of The IndUS Entrepreneurs (TiE), is organising “TiECon India 2003”. The event takes place from 18– 19 December at Hotel Maurya Sheraton, New Delhi.
The annual event will address the issues confronting entrepreneurs in the current challenging environment. Apart from the core areas of infotech and telecommunications for the first time industry experts and professionals from various verticals like media and entertainment, retail, tourism & hospitality, venture capital funding will deliberate on issues affecting the business environment.
There will be eight panel discussions. One of them will be on Opportunities: Entertainment & Media Management guru and University of Michigan’s Professor of Corporate Strategy Prof. C. K. Prahlad will deliver the keynote address on Entrepreneurship At the Bottom of the Pyramid. Other panel discussion topics will include Tourism & Hospitality: The Opportunities Beckons, Opportunities: Retail & Branding, Venture Capital Funding – The International Perspective, and Social Entrepreneurship.
TiE aims at creating a learning and networking platform for investment and business opportunities. It also looks to create the next breed of entrepreneurs with the skills to redefine and adapt new thoughts and ideas to modern business.
