Elton John develops TV satire based on male divas
MUMBAI: Elton John is developing a sitcom And you can tell everybody for ABC.
The show centers around an aging rock character and the relationship with the people around him.
The sitcom project will also be a conflux of other male divas such as Rod Stewart, Mick Jagger, Freddy Mercury and David Bowie.
John is working with Michael Edelstein, the executive producer of Disney owned ABC’s series Desperate Housewives and Cindy Chupack the writer of Sex and The City, informs a media report.
The singer has already written a song for the project called Him and Us, which will appear on his new CD Peachtree Road.
