Initiative bags media duties for PVR Cinemas and Khadim
MUMBAI: Initiative, part of the Lintas Media Group, has bagged the media duties for PVR Cinemas in Delhi and Khadim in Kolkata. The two accounts are worth over Rs 100 million.
Says Initiative president Kartik Iyer, “We are delighted with these twin wins. The teams in Delhi and Kolkata will endeavor to partner these businesses through our committed knowledge-based planning to deliver innovative and incisive media led communication solutions.”
Delhi-based PVR Cinema is a leading multiplex player and is also engaged in production and distribution of movies. At present, it has a total of 39 screens of which 28 are in Delhi and NCR and 11 in Bangalore. PVR has plans to foray into new centres like Mumbai and Hyderabad.
Kolkatta-based Khadims is into footwear retailing and has a network spread across the country with more than 200 retail outlets.
Khadim’s senior product manager Joydeep Basu Roy said; “A growing concern has its own hiccups and we, presently in a phase of rigorous growth and expansion, were for a long time facing the need to plan our media activities in a professional manner. We are happy to appoint Initiative Media as the media planning agency of Khadim’s.”
