Cartoon Network Enterprises reshuffles operating structure
MUMBAI: Turner Entertainment Group president Mark Lazarus has announced a new operating structure for Cartoon Network Enterprises, the branded merchandising business of Cartoon Network.
Kim McQuilken has been made Cartoon Network Enterprises executive vice president kids advertising sales and marketing.
On the domestic end, McQuilken will report to David Levy, the president of Turner Entertainment Group sales and marketing and president of Turner Sports. For international, he will report to Louise Sams, executive VP and general counsel for Turner Broadcasting System, Inc., and president of Turner Broadcasting System International.
Cartoon Network Enterprises senior VP John Friend will have direct responsibility for Cartoon Network’s consumer products licensing business in the US and internationally, reporting to McQuilken.
Cartoon Network Enterprises’ creative direction will remain under the direction of Cynthia Rapp, but will now report to Dennis Adamovich, the senior VP of marketing for Cartoon Network.
All other operations and programming functions for Cartoon Network US will continue to operate under the existing structure headed by general manager Jim Samples.
“This is an important step forward for Cartoon Network Enterprises and Cartoon Network, and yet another indication of the strong talent in place throughout our organization. In addition to the changes announced here, Kim and John will continue to build a new team that will further strengthen and grow this important unit,” said Lazarus.

The campaign transforms the beloved character’s mischievous world into a fresh, high-energy viewing experience. It features new episodes, fan-favourite moments, and themed programming stunts, all designed to stand out from regular broadcasts.
Adding extra sparkle to the celebration, popular comedian Kiku Sharda has joined the campaign. He anchors the integration with a lively rap track titled ‘Shin chan ka YAY! Dhamaal’, infusing contemporary music and humour into the beloved series.

Starting 27 April, viewers can enjoy the World Television Premiere of Shin chan along with new episodes and an exciting lineup of blockbuster movies on Sony YAY!.
