An action packed month on Star Movies

Mumbai, September 30, 2005: Star Movies brings you the best of stunts and action films with the World Stunts and Action Extravaganza festival. This October, every Monday night at 9:00 p.m., “World Stunts and Action Extravaganza” will showcase the best of action in cinema with some of the world’s best actors in the lead. Among the films featured are The Bourne Identity starring Matt Damon, Die Another Day starring Pierce Brosnan, and Minority Report starring Tom Cruise. It all ends with a gathering of the biggest stars at the Taurus World Stunt Awards 2005 which will be aired on October 24, 2005 featuring celebrity presenters including The Rock, Arnold Schwarzenegger, David Carradine and Jennifer Love Hewitt.

The festival kicks off this Monday, October 3, 2005 at 9:00 p.m. with the thriller, The Bourne Identity. On a stormy night, a young man with two bullets in his back is found floating in the Mediterranean Sea. With no memory of who he is, he tries to rebuild his past with the help of a Swiss bank account number that is implanted in his hip. Armed with a bag of money, numerous passports and mysterious martial arts skills, he scours Paris for clues about his identity and past life… and finds himself in the middle of two assassination plots masterminded by the CIA. Join Matt Damon as he searches for the truth in the action packed blockbuster The Bourne Identity, only on Star Movies.

Zee5 launches five free FAST channels on Samsung TV Plus India

New genre-led channels bring comedy, drama, horror, classics and South films to Smart TVs.

MUMBAI: Zee5 just turned Samsung Smart TVs into a free entertainment buffet because when premium content costs nothing, even the remote control starts smiling. Zee5 has launched five curated free ad-supported streaming TV (FAST) channels on Samsung TV Plus India, making high-quality, genre-specific entertainment available subscription-free to millions of Samsung Smart TV owners across the country.

The five channels now live are:

Zee Comedy Nation – Popular comedy shows and movies
Zee Dil Se – Compelling drama series
ZEE Horror Nights – Horror and supernatural content
ZEE Cine Classic – Timeless Indian films
ZEE South Flix – High-energy South Indian films dubbed in Hindi
All content is drawn from Zee5’s extensive library and programmed in a lean-back, always-on format ideal for large-screen viewing. This launch strengthens Zee5’s Connected TV strategy at a time when 64 per cent of its premium content watch time already comes from connected devices.
