Suresh Balakrishnan likely to join Zee as marketing head

MUMBAI: Soon after taking charge as Zee Telefilms chief executive officer, Pradeep Guha is putting a senior management team into place. Suresh Balakrishnan, who recently quit Hindustan Times, is likely to join Zee as head of marketing.

Zee is also in the process of recruiting an ad sales head for the network. Guha admitted that Zee was looking for an ad sales head and that it would take a couple of weeks to fill that position.

Guha also confirmed that Zee has made an offer to Balakrishnan to head marketing and that they were waiting to hear from him.

Speaking to indiantelevision.com, Balakrishnan, who is serving his notice period at HT currently, said that he had received an offer from Zee and will be taking a decision in a few days.
Prior to joining HT, Balakrishnan was heading Lintas’ rural arm Linterland.
