Max appoints Sanjay Ramakrishnan as maketing head

MUMBAI: Max, the movies and special events channel from Sony Entertainment Television, has appointed Sanjay Ramakrishnan as its marketing and communications vice president. Ramakrishnan will report to Max EVP and business head Albert Almeida.

Says Almeida, “It’s exciting times ahead for Max with loads of action on the movies and cricket front and Sanjay’s outstanding abilities, which he has successfully established over the years will be a key asset to Max. Sanjay has experience and knowledge in consumer marketing, sales and distribution, business development and public relations having worked across a diverse set of media businesses. He is well armed to bring all these skills to bear in this challenging and ever changing environment.”
