MUMBAI: UTV Motion Pictures‘ Thank You has not been able to tickle the audience despite its top heavy star cast and having Anees Bazmee at the helm.

The opening day collections are a disappointing Rs 47 million, considering that the movie had a solo release. As expected, the film peaked on Sunday, almost doubling the first day figures, and ended at Rs 194 million for the weekend.

With the beginning of the new week today, the collections have started sliding down.

Faltu enjoyed its run of glory for the first three days but could not manage to sustain as the week progressed. Having collected Rs 107 million over the weekend, it finally ended the week with Rs 157.5 million, adding just Rs 50.5 million for the next four days.

Game emerges as a disaster with a poor opening response and cancelled shows for lack of audience later on. The film has managed to collect a mere Rs 48 million in its first week.

Having enjoyed a solo run for almost five weeks and with new releases coming post World Cup, Tanu Weds Manu comes to the end of its glorious run. It collected Rs 2 million in its 6th week as against Rs 22 million in the 5th week. The movie‘s net collection now stands at Rs 401 million.
