Tim Guillois is Digitas India SVP social media
MUMBAI: Digital marketing agency Digitas India has appointed Tim Guillois as the senior vice president for social media. He will report to Digitas India president Kanika Mathur.
Guillois comes with over 13 years of experience in building brands using social media. He moves from Blogbang, a France-based social media agency.
Guillois said, “I am honoured and excited to be a part of the Digitas India team. The digital space in India is unique and we are looking forward to developing services and models which are unique to India and at the same time bring-in the best of Digitas‘ best practices.”
Mathur added, “Digitas has seen tremendous growth in India over the last few years. As the digital space evolves in India, it gives us immense pleasure to have Tim on board leading Social media. I am confident that Tim‘s experience and passion for Social media will strengthen our business and lead it to new heights.”
Guillois was among the first French marketers to launch a social network with a venture called pecheaubar.com. He followed it up by another website bateauxdepeche.com, leading him to launch an e-commerce website.
