Grey’s Vinod Prabhakar leaves for heavenly abode

MUMBAI: Grey Group chief financial officer Vinod Prabhakar departed for his heavenly abode on Sunday morning.

He succumbed to a cardiac arrest in Mumbai at the age of 45.

“A jovial, helpful and wonderful colleague, a doting father and a loving husband, Prabhakar will be missed by his innumerable friends and colleagues. He is survived by his wife Beena, his son, Vineet, his parents, brothers and relatives” Grey said in a statement.

A veteran of Grey, Prabhakar had joined the organisation 20 years ago, when it was still Trikaya Grey. He oversaw the agency‘s transition into Grey Group and led the agency‘s diversification and acquisitions with a team that had been with him for over 15 years.
