Superstar Enrique Iglesias returns with his Smashing new Single “Turn The Night Up”
MUMBAI: Leading music label, Universal Music India today announced the release of the brand new single “Turn The Night Up” from pop superstar Enrique Iglesias. The Latino heartthrob once again conquered the Billboard Dance Chart with “Turn The Night Up” — his thirteenth No.1. Already holding the record on the chart for most #1’s, he increases that number yet again. “Turn The Night Up” is also the lead-off from his highly anticipated tenth full-length studio album, due out later this year.
Produced by The Cataracs [Selena Gomez, Snoop Dogg], the track delivers dance floor energy with undeniable pop panache. The superstar’s instantly recognizable voice carries a soaring and sexy hook, making for a sizzling and seductive club anthem. And now the track gets a unique `Bollywood’ spin as music producer / DJ AKS delivers a monster of an Indian remix by cleverly infusing Desi instruments like the “Dhol” and “Tumbi” along with vocals from Pakistani vocalist Mustafa Zahid, best known for his break through Bollywood hit “Tera Mera Rishta” (`Awarapan’) and more recently “Bhula Dena” from the musical block buster `Aashiqui 2’.
Enrique Iglesias has consistently been one of the best-selling International artistes in India and this Indian remix will extend his fan base to well beyond the International music audiences.
Says Enrique Iglesias on this remix, “It’s well known I love India and the great support I always get from my fans there. That’s why we always try to pay a bit more attention to them and one way is to customize the single with a special version for India”.
The remix titled DJ AKS Remix Ft. Mustafa Zahid can be heard here http://saa.vn/enrique on Saavn.com – the exclusive streaming partner for the track.
This infectious Indian remix is part of the six track release of the “Turn The Night Up” single which includes the original version along with five club remixes as an Indian exclusive!
Says DJ AKS the producer of the track, “Turn the night up” is a definite worldwide club banger. This Enrique Iglesias tune had the right vibe for fusion with the “Bollywood” sound. The theme being very simple… “Turn the night up”. So we got creative with Desi instruments like “Dhol” and “Tumbi” along with vocals by Mustafa Zahid which takes the song to a whole new level. Thanks to Universal Music India who gave us the opportunity and freedom to collaborate and remix this chart busting number!”
Says Mustafa Zahid on the remix, “I’m a huge fan of Enrique Iglesias and his music, so when my record label Universal Music called me and asked me to sing on this remix, I jumped on it! It’s a great up-tempo dance track and all credit to DJ AKS for turning it around into a big Bollywood dance remix! I’m sure it will be a huge hit across clubs out here and I’m waiting to hear what my fans think of it”.
Since 1995, ENRIQUE IGLESIAS has solidified himself as one of the most respected and revered stars worldwide. He remains one of the best-selling Spanish artists in history with sales exceeding 100 million worldwide. To his credit, he’s turned out five top 5 singles on the Billboard Hot 100 with two reaching the top spot as well as 12 number ones on the Dance chart—the most for any male performer ever. Meanwhile, he also is the record holder for most Spanish language singles to hit number one on the Hot Latin Tracks chart, producing 23 in total. Still, there are even bigger things on the horizon for him.
The 6 track single is available today on both physical and digital formats Exclusively on Universal Music.

Kamlesh Singh receives Haldi Ghati Award from MMCF
India Today Group editor honoured for three decades of journalism at Udaipur ceremony.
MUMBAI- Kamlesh Singh just turned a lifetime of sharp words into a shiny shield because when journalism wakes up a society, even the Maharana of Mewar wants to pin a medal on it.
The Maharana of Mewar Charitable Foundation (MMCF) conferred its prestigious Haldi Ghati Award on Kamlesh Singh, a senior editor at the India Today Group, during a ceremony in Udaipur on 15 March 2026. The national award, instituted in 1981-82, recognises “work of permanent value that initiates an awakening in society through the medium of journalism.”
Singh, who leads several editorial initiatives including Aaj Tak Radio, the Teen Taal community and The Lallantop, was presented the honour by Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar, Managing Trustee of MMCF. The citation highlighted his three decades of contributions to Indian media, innovations in digital journalism, mentoring young reporters, and his popular podcast persona “Tau” on Teen Taal, which fosters thoughtful public discourse.
The Haldi Ghati Award, named after the historic Battle of Haldighati symbolising valour and resilience, is one of four national awards given annually by MMCF. Past recipients include Tavleen Singh, Piyush Pandey and Raj Chengappa.
Other honourees this year included Padma Vibhushan Pt Hari Prasad Chaurasia, Vedamurti Devvrat Rekhe, Treeman of India Marimuthu Yoganathan, Vir Chakra Capt Rizwan Malik, and US-based researcher Molly Emma Aitken, who received the Colonel James Tod Award for contributions to understanding Mewar’s spirit and values.
In an era where headlines often shout louder than substance, the MMCF quietly reminded everyone that real journalism isn’t about noise, it’s about the quiet, persistent work that stirs society awake, one thoughtful story at a time.
