Animal Planet hosts ‘Enter the Wild’ activation in Bengaluru

Two-day experiential event at Bhartiya Mall brings animal survival stories to life for families and kids.

MUMBAI: Animal Planet just let the wild side out in a mall because nothing says “family day out” like dodging imaginary predators between shopping bags. Warner Bros. Discovery India’s Animal Planet transformed Bhartiya Mall in Bengaluru into a mini wilderness playground over two days with its on-ground activation, ‘Enter the Wild Discover How Animals Survive the Wild’. The free, interactive experience drew families, children, and pet lovers into the dramatic world of animal survival, turning TV storytelling into hands-on adventure.

Inspired by the channel’s signature predator-survivor tales, the setup recreated key habitats and behaviours. Standout zones included the Camel Survival Station explaining how these desert champs endure scorching heat and scarce water and the Penguin Waddle Challenge, where participants tried to mimic the birds’ signature shuffle while learning about Antarctic adaptations.

Visitors snapped 360-degree video selfies in wildlife settings and posed for the ‘Date With Your Pet’ photo op against themed backdrops. Interactive games simulated real survival scenarios, educational workshops unpacked quirky animal facts, and curated prizes rewarded active participation keeping the energy high and the learning light.

Warner Bros. Discovery, head of marketing for South Asia Janhavi Vyas said, “Animal Planet has long stood for authentic and compelling wildlife storytelling that sparks curiosity and fosters respect for the natural world. With ‘Enter the Wild,’ we brought that ethos to life through an immersive on-ground experience designed especially for families and young audiences.”

The activation gave the channel a tangible way to extend its brand beyond the screen, blending education with entertainment in a format that felt more playground than lecture hall. For Bengaluru families, it was a chance to step into the wild without leaving the city proving that sometimes the best way to appreciate nature is to waddle like a penguin in a mall corridor.
