Pogo rolls out 4th edition of ‘Galli Galli Sim Sim’
MUMBAI: Pogo has launched season four of Galli Galli Sim Sim. The new series hit the TV screens on 7 December and is being telecast Monday to Friday at 8.30 am.
Pogo will also air every Saturday on Cartoon Network at 8:30 am and on Doordarshan at 10.30 am.
The new season that includes 35 new episodes will focus on health, nutrition and bio diversity. The edutainment series, will have three segments – ‘Galli ki Duniya‘, ‘Muppet on location‘ and ‘Word of the day‘ across a 22-minute episode.
In ‘Galli ki Duniya‘, children will experience the fun world of muppets and learn healthy habits from them. ‘Muppet on location‘, will see the antics of Grover and Toto as they travel all over the world and in ‘Word of the Day‘, Elmo will teach a new word in each episode in his exciting and unique way.
Turner International India VP & deputy GM entertainment networks, South Asia Monica Tata said, “Galli Galli Sim Sim is more than just a television show for Turner. It is our endeavour to use Cartoon Network and POGO to empower kids across India to exercise their basic right to education.”
The series has cut across children between the age group of 3 to 6 years.
“The entire look and feel of the series, integration of colors and animation on the sets and the show format has been so designed to suit the viewing habits of these children,” said Miditech chairman Nirvet Alva.

Mukta Arts and Green Gold ink MOU to animate iconic film IPs
Kalicharan, Karz, Hero, Karma, Ram Lakhan to spawn animated shows plus features.
MUMBAI: When classic hindi movie meets animation, the result is a fresh reel of nostalgia with a cartoon twist. Mukta Arts Ltd. and Green Gold Animation have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to collaborate on animated shows and feature films drawn from Mukta Arts’ four-decade treasure trove of iconic IPs. The partnership taps Mukta’s SGM Animation Studio launched in 2025 as its dedicated animation and games arm and Green Gold’s proven track record in building scalable, homegrown franchises. Creative teams from both sides have already kicked off discussions, with the first project currently in development.
The slate will draw inspiration from landmark Mukta films including Kalicharan, Karz, Hero, Karma, Ram Lakhan, Khalnayak, Saudagar and Iqbal, plus character-led spin-offs from those universes. The aim is to reimagine these stories for today’s young, global audiences while preserving their emotional core.
Green Gold Animation (home of Chhota Bheem) founder and CEO Rajiv Chilaka said, “This partnership with SGM Studios allows us to apply our experience in building long-lasting animation IPs to a truly iconic film catalogue. Together, we aim to create animated worlds that are rooted in these legendary stories, yet designed to connect with today’s young, global audiences.”
