Zee Cinema brings an entertaining Saturday with ‘Phata Poster Nikla Hero’
MUMBAI: Zee Cinema, the world’s biggest theatre for Hindi movie brings the ultimate Bollywood’s action comedy Phata Poster Nikla Hero – on 4 July, Saturday at 9 pm. The film directed by trendsetter Rajkumar Santoshi, stars Shahid Kapoor and Ileana D’cruz in lead roles. The film that promises loads of laughter with plenty of romance is a complete family entertainer that can be enjoyed with hot cup of tea along with crunchy popcorns on a cold rainy day.
A clear case of mistaken identity, Phata Poster Nikla Hero unfolds the story of Vishwas Rao (Shahid Kapoor) whose mother (Padmini Kolhapure) wishes to see her son become an honest police inspector. Vishwas on the other hands dreams to be a flamboyant filmy hero. His life takes a dramatic turn when a local social worker Kajal (Ileana D’Cruz) mistakenly assumes and reaches out to Vishwas who is dressed like a police officer for a filmy photoshoot. So as to impress her, Vishwas eventually plays along and further engulfing him into a hilarious cat and mouse game.
Will Vishwas ever admit the truth? Will he ever confine his real dreams to his mother? Will Kajal accept him for who he is?

This Valentine’s Day, Zee Cinema is turning up the heat with the world television premiere of Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat, a raw, rule-breaking romantic drama that proves love doesn’t always come wrapped in roses.
Set to air on Saturday, 14 February at 8pm, the film stars Harshvardhan Rane and Sonam Bajwa, directed by Milap Zaveri. It dives headfirst into obsession, heartbreak, and the kind of unconditional love that leaves scorch marks. Rane plays Vikramaditya, a powerful politician whose all-consuming passion for actress Adaa spirals into chaos when his feelings go unreturned unleashing a storm of emotion, misunderstanding, and life-altering consequences.
The timing couldn’t be sharper. Audiences are clearly craving intense love stories over sugar-coated ones, and this film taps straight into that vein. Harshvardhan Rane already has a loyal fanbase from his cult hit Sanam Teri Kasam, which cemented his status as the go-to guy for heart-wrenching romance especially among younger viewers who keep the film on repeat.
