Deltin Royale presents 1000 Guineas and 2000 Guineas cups
MUMBAI: Deltin, a brand synonym with luxury gaming and hospitality, will present two of the most prestigious horse race events in Mumbai, Deltin Casinos Indian 1000 Guineas and Deltin Casinos Indian 2000 Guineas on 15th December, 2013 and 22nd December 2013 respectively at Mahalakshmi Race Course. Welcoming the horse racing season, these two properties are the first of the Indian classics for 3 year old horses, the others being The Indian Oaks, The Indian Derby and The Indian St Leger. These races will also host other recreation activities like a mock up casinos and children play area.
While the Deltin Casinos Indian 1000 Guineas is a race restricted only to fillies (Feminine gender), the Deltin Casinos Indian 2000 Guineas is open to both genders. Mumbai’s cr?me de la cr?me bid high numbers during these races and some of their favourites like Starry Eyes, Circle of Life, Alaindair, Murioi, Silver Arrow, will be a part of the upcoming races. Some of the top jockeys from around the world will clash with the Indian champions. Richard Highes with champion jockeys Y S Srinath and Sandesh for one of horse racing’s great accolades. Proud owners Dr. Vijay Mallya, Harish Mehta, Jaydev Mody, Dr M.A.M Ramaswamy will be seen cheering for their favourites.

New show shifts from debates to decoding global conflicts and impacts
MUMBAI: News18 India has rolled out a new war-focused programme, Command Centre, featuring Gaurav Arya, as it looks to offer viewers a sharper, more grounded take on global conflicts amid rising tensions in West Asia.
Positioned as an “insider war room”, the show moves away from conventional panel debates and instead focuses on explaining military developments, decoding strategy and connecting global events to their everyday impact, from fuel prices to economic shifts.
The format leans heavily on visuals and data. The studio has been designed like a command hub, complete with large LED war maps, real-time graphics and an alert system to track developments as they unfold.
At the centre of it all is Arya, who brings his military background to simplify complex war strategies for viewers. His signature line, “Seedhi baat samjhiye”, anchors the show’s promise of clarity over noise.
