MUMBAI: Star World, is all set to launch “Top Drive – Getaway” on 16 November at 9.30 pm. The show is edged with a distinct difference.

This refreshed route taken in the series provide a far more comprehensive package where the inimitable facet would be the degree of involvement of the family/couple and their hottest machine taking them to the desired destinations.

Top Drive – Getaway’s first episode has vivacious and fun loving, Kim and Purab, the popular VJs of Channel [V] on an exciting getaway in their Tata Safari exi to Mahableshwar, a scenic hill station, a few miles away from the madding city of Mumbai.

While they are driving from one locale to another, they stop over and experience the thrills and often make incessant notes on the feasibility, power, mileage, comfort, and safety of the four-wheeler they are driving on. As Kim and Purab meander through the green valleys and sun-kissed mountains, the viewers will realise that they are actually travelling “back of beyond,” which is waiting to be discovered.

Top Drive-Getaway, apart from introducing the hottest machine on the block, what it promises is to zip the audience away towards tranquility and a chance to savour a rather one-to-one encounter with the wheels and feel proud of it.
