Siddharth Jain is Zee Turner COO

MUMBAI: Zee Turner (ZTPL)has announced that Siddharth Jain has been promoted to Chief Operating Officer (COO). The announcement was made by ZTPL CEO and MD Dheeraj Kapuria.

Jain will play a strategic role and will work closely with Kapuria to support the business growth of the bouquet. He will also be responsible for the marketing and corporate communications functions of the company and will provide strategic direction to ZTPLs marketing efforts. Jain will continue to oversee distribution sales for ZTPL.

A company release states that Jain was a career Army officer before he decided to hang his spurs and join the media business. He has been a part of the distribution business in India since its inception. He started with Star as a regional manager and then moved to Turner International India.

At Turner, he set up the entire distribution network for South Asia. He was instrumental in encrypting Cartoon Network and CNN and launching HBO in South Asia. Prior to the latest appointment at ZTPL, he was its distribution VP. ZTPL claims to have a combined viewership of more than 30 million households with an equal spread through the country.

Ashish Chauhan will weigh in on capital markets at a pivotal juncture, as a panel featuring Vibha Padalkar, Sanjiv Mehta, Amish Mehta and Sanjeev Krishan debates navigating economic uncertainty.

Leadership under pressure will be another running theme. Madhavkrishna Singhania, Sharvil Patel, Karan Bhagat and Anurag Choudhary will unpack how businesses are steering through disruption.
