Roshan Abbas’ Encompass to produce three shows for Radio City
MUMBAI: After his move from Win 94.6 to Radio City, star RJ Roshan Abbas has been quite busy. Besides his regular RJ assignments for the radio channel, Abbas is now getting into producing shows as well.
Touted as a one-stop BTL (below the line) marketing solutions provider for the corporate and entertainment industry, Encompass is packaging and scripting programs on Radio City, hosted by company’s managing director Roshan Abbas himself. The debut venture boasts of three shows Filmcity Express, Junior Janab and Public Demand.
While the entire packaging for Filmcity Express is handled by Encompass, the company is scripting the shows Public Demand and Junior Janab, informs an official release.
Filmcity Express, which will be aired weekdays from 12 PM to 2 PM, is a two hours of no holds barred show anchored by Abbas. He will talk about everything from ‘filmi gyan’ to ‘Banarasi paan’.
While Junior Janab, scheduled to air from 12 PM to 1 PM every Saturday and Sunday is Abbas take on the Bill Cosby
Last show, Public Demand is a countdown show that will air every Sunday from 6 PM to 9 PM
With these assignments, the seven year old event management company- Encompass, is taking on radio into its sphere. The company will be producing fifteen hours of programming every week.

After doing radio shows in Dubai, Canada, Delhi, Mumbai and Lucknow earlier I am back with Radio city to reach my hometown Lucknow, the city that gave me my educational roots and started my career Delhi, the city that has now enveloped me with its tinsel town dreams, Mumbai, and the city which I love to go to, to see the melting pot of cosmopolitan India Bangalore”, says Abbas.

CNN-News18 to host Fury in the Gulf conclave on West Asia crisis
Three-hour summit to unpack geopolitical fallout and impact on India
MUMBAI: CNN-News18 is set to host a special three-hour broadcast, Fury in the Gulf – War Conclave, on April 7, aiming to decode the escalating West Asia crisis and its far-reaching implications for India.
Scheduled from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM, the conclave comes at a time when tensions between Iran and the United States are reshaping global geopolitics and triggering economic uncertainty. With India’s deep energy ties, trade links and large diaspora in the Gulf, the developments carry significant domestic relevance.
Built around the theme ‘Conflict, Consequences, and The Future,’ the programme will feature six curated sessions combining one-on-one interviews and panel discussions. The focus is to cut through the clutter and offer viewers a clearer understanding of the fast-evolving situation.
Key sessions include ‘Diplomacy in Times of War’ featuring Shashi Tharoor, and ‘World After the Iran Conflict’ with voices such as Ram Madhav, Reuven Azar, representatives from the European Union and the Iranian Deputy Envoy. Another session titled ‘Another Dunkirk?’ will bring together K. J. S. Dhillon and Jitin Prasada among others.
CNN-News18 editorial affairs director Rahul Shivshankar said, “In times of war, clarity becomes the most powerful tool. Fury in the Gulf – War Conclave brings together credible voices to address the questions and confusion that arise amid an overwhelming influx of information.”
