Reshammiya joins jury on [V] ‘Super Singer’
MUMBAI: Lots more with musical notes and singing happening with Channel [V] Super Singer. The channel has announced the arrival of acclaimed music director Himesh Reshammiya for the final phase of auditions of Samsung [v] Super Singer.
Reshammiya joins the band-wagon to judge alongside Adnan Sami and A. R Rahman. According to a company release, Reshammiya will also be composing one of the songs for the Super Singer album. The album will be launched by the five finalists at the end of the nationwide quest.
Himesh Reshammiya has composed some melodious music for Bollywood films such as Aitraaz, Bardaasht, Dil Maange More, Humraaz, Pyar Kiya To Darna Kya, Kahin Pyaar Na Ho Jaaye and Tere Naam.
The 30 short-listed participants from the zonal round will be flown into Mumbai. Out of these 30 participants five would be short-listed by Adnan, Rahman and Himesh.

TLC launches ‘World On My Plate’ with Shipra Khanna

Discovery India has announced the launch of World On My Plate with Shipra Khanna, a new travel and food series set to premiere on TLC on 29 March at 7:00 PM. Hosted and curated by the popular chef and television personality, the show blends food, travel and culture through an intimate and immersive lens.
Across three visually rich episodes, Shipra journeys to global destinations to explore not just what people eat, but why they eat it, uncovering the stories, traditions and human connections behind every dish. The series opens in London, weaving its iconic landmarks with diverse culinary scenes, before moving to Spain’s vineyards, olive orchards and coastal kitchens.

World On My Plate builds on this by using food as a lens to explore shared traditions across geographies.
