MTV launches ‘MTV/Philips Whatever Things Show Host Contest’
MUMBAI: MTV in association with Philips has launched MTV/Philips Whatever Things Show Host Contest! new season contest.
MTV Whatever Things Show Host Contest! is looking for the next colossal star to co-host its radically new bigger better and lost edgier second season. Hong Kong’s crown prince of cool, actor and singer Edison Chen will host the expanded, 30 minute show, coming soon to small screen.
Viewers have to log on to the website www.mtvasia.com to participate in the contest and fill in the form before 10 October and also can register their entry via email at whateverthings@mtv-asai.com. Along with the contest form a photo and an idea for a crazy stunt that you’ll perform if you’re selected, a company statement noted. MTV Whatever Things gets rolling in mid-November.
The contest is casting a spotlight on extreme talent all over Asia. Each country like China, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore and Thailand would get a chance on-the-ground bent talent contest in October.
The winners stand to win; one stupendous stunt-maker from each country gets to trip-hop it to Shanghai (TBC) for the grand finals in January. Beyond continental bragging rights, the grand champ will host the last episode of the MTV Whatever Things series with Hong Kong idol Edison Chen himself.
The contest will look into smart people with a rare gift for doing dumb things along with heroic stunts, candid creative outrageous totally entertaining and non-stop howling stunts.
The moments that will be captured for on-air would feature all the zaniest moments from the on-ground contests. The Philips super product mobile phones and portable stuff will be featured on MTV Whatever Things.
