Etc to enthrall viewers with The Magic Of Rafi
In its series to commemorate and honour the icons of music industry, music channel etc is next set to revive the memory of great singer Mohammad Rafi all through August. A special show The Magic Of Rafi, will air on 1 , 8, 15, 22 and 29 August at 8.30 PM. Repeats will be on Fridays at 1.00 PM and Sundays at 9.30 AM.
The special tribute during the month of his death anniversary will feature interviews, information, sound bytes and songs that represent the range and repertoire of this master of voice and music.
Each episode will be of half an hour each, and will cover his songs from 1949 to 1960, 1961 to 1965, 1966 to 1970 and from 1971 to 1980. The Final episode will showcase the best of Mohammad Rafis songs.

TLC launches ‘World On My Plate’ with Shipra Khanna

Discovery India has announced the launch of World On My Plate with Shipra Khanna, a new travel and food series set to premiere on TLC on 29 March at 7:00 PM. Hosted and curated by the popular chef and television personality, the show blends food, travel and culture through an intimate and immersive lens.
Across three visually rich episodes, Shipra journeys to global destinations to explore not just what people eat, but why they eat it, uncovering the stories, traditions and human connections behind every dish. The series opens in London, weaving its iconic landmarks with diverse culinary scenes, before moving to Spain’s vineyards, olive orchards and coastal kitchens.
