MUMBAI: Hungama TV’s Sanya will have a special appearance from dietician Anjali Mukherjee on 25 January at 7.30 pm. The health conscious Sanya is keen on keeping her weight in check and hence seeks help from Mukherjee in her own unique style.
Sanya is an interactive daily, which is a comedy-drama about a golden-hearted girl with two problems. Problem one: she can never say no to someone who asks for her help. Problem two even if no one actually asks, Sanya has to help, thus getting herself into a dilemma at the end of every episode where she has to choose between two options.
Tweens can relate to her perplexity and this episode will highlight one such commonly faced problem – dieting. In the show Sanya gets influenced by various images of thin people she sees in media and starts doubting her own weight. Mukherjee steps on board and helps her out. After Rajiv Khandelval, this is the second guest appearance on the show.
Hungama TV programming head Zarina Mehta said, “Through depiction of Sanya’s dilemma about fitness, Hungama TV aims to send a very important message to all young girls of Sanya’s age who due to misinformation or self doubt start dieting and cause great harm to themselves in the long run.”

MUMBAI: When classic hindi movie meets animation, the result is a fresh reel of nostalgia with a cartoon twist. Mukta Arts Ltd. and Green Gold Animation have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to collaborate on animated shows and feature films drawn from Mukta Arts’ four-decade treasure trove of iconic IPs. The partnership taps Mukta’s SGM Animation Studio launched in 2025 as its dedicated animation and games arm and Green Gold’s proven track record in building scalable, homegrown franchises. Creative teams from both sides have already kicked off discussions, with the first project currently in development.

The slate will draw inspiration from landmark Mukta films including Kalicharan, Karz, Hero, Karma, Ram Lakhan, Khalnayak, Saudagar and Iqbal, plus character-led spin-offs from those universes. The aim is to reimagine these stories for today’s young, global audiences while preserving their emotional core.

Green Gold Animation (home of Chhota Bheem) founder and CEO Rajiv Chilaka said, “This partnership with SGM Studios allows us to apply our experience in building long-lasting animation IPs to a truly iconic film catalogue. Together, we aim to create animated worlds that are rooted in these legendary stories, yet designed to connect with today’s young, global audiences.”
