CM Bhupesh Baghel to grace News18’s ‘Agenda Chhattisgarh’ summit
Mumbai: Against the backdrop of the upcoming state elections, News18 Network will be organising its ‘Agenda Chhattisgarh’ summit on 30 September 2023 in Raipur. This platform will bring together some of the most prominent leaders from Chhattisgarh to discuss and deliberate on issues that are defining the electoral narrative of the state.
The chief minister of Chhattisgarh, Bhupesh Baghel will grace the event as the chief guest and speak extensively about his vision for the state, its future, and address crucial matters relating to the impending elections. The summit will also see participation from the deputy chief minister, T. S. Singh Deo as well as the state home minister, Tamradhwaj Sahu.
Other top leaders and policymakers including the Chhattisgarh urban development minister, Shivkumar Dahariya, minister of transport Chhattisgarh, Mohammad Akbar, Congress in-charge of state, Kumari Selja, president of AAP Chhattisgarh, Komal Hupendi will also be speaking at the summit. ‘Agenda Chhattisgarh’ will see an insightful discussion between Sushil Anand Shukla from Congress and Shrichand Sundrani from BJP.

News18 India launches Command Centre war explainer with Arya
New show shifts from debates to decoding global conflicts and impacts
MUMBAI: News18 India has rolled out a new war-focused programme, Command Centre, featuring Gaurav Arya, as it looks to offer viewers a sharper, more grounded take on global conflicts amid rising tensions in West Asia.
Positioned as an “insider war room”, the show moves away from conventional panel debates and instead focuses on explaining military developments, decoding strategy and connecting global events to their everyday impact, from fuel prices to economic shifts.
The format leans heavily on visuals and data. The studio has been designed like a command hub, complete with large LED war maps, real-time graphics and an alert system to track developments as they unfold.
At the centre of it all is Arya, who brings his military background to simplify complex war strategies for viewers. His signature line, “Seedhi baat samjhiye”, anchors the show’s promise of clarity over noise.
