Channel [V] celebrates 13th b’day with Mentos Big [V] Concert
MUMBAI: Channel [V] will turn 13 on 13 January and to celebrate the same it is hosting the Big [V] Concert in association with Mentos.
The concert, will feature performances by International hip hop star Akon, Pakistani singers Atif, Call and Raeth and Indi-pop artists – Shaan, Kailash Kher, Bappi Lahiri and DJ Suketu.
Also there would be special performances by Shankar Ehsaan Loy and Priyanka Chopra.
The fiesta will include Get Gorgeous at the Get Gorgeous stall, which can be a ticket to enter the next season of the hunt if your photograph clicked at the stall, catches the eye at Channel [V]. There would be a Back to Music Stall where local bands will perform.
Channel [V] will also give 10 lucky winners the opportunity to shoot their very own Mentos Big [V] Concert. People can participate by logging onto www.vindia.com or sms to Star 7827.

TLC launches ‘World On My Plate’ with Shipra Khanna
New travel-food series premieres 29 March at 7:00 PM.

Discovery India has announced the launch of World On My Plate with Shipra Khanna, a new travel and food series set to premiere on TLC on 29 March at 7:00 PM. Hosted and curated by the popular chef and television personality, the show blends food, travel and culture through an intimate and immersive lens.
Across three visually rich episodes, Shipra journeys to global destinations to explore not just what people eat, but why they eat it, uncovering the stories, traditions and human connections behind every dish. The series opens in London, weaving its iconic landmarks with diverse culinary scenes, before moving to Spain’s vineyards, olive orchards and coastal kitchens.
