Get ready to unleash the power of Ng-lish with six of his iconic words and phrases that will elevate your argument game and ensure you always have the last word!
Ever hear something so astonishing it feels like a mental fireworks show?
Next time someone drops a bombshell, don’t just sit there with your jaw on the floor—hit them with a dramatic “Fuiyoh!”. This isn’t just a word; it’s a verbal confetti cannon, ensuring everyone knows their statement has blown your mind to smithereens. Perfect for those moments when you need to sprinkle some irony and flair into the conversation, making it clear that what they just said is nothing short of spectacularly unbelievable.
Frustrated that you have to put up with a mindless argument?
When someone’s argument is so painfully misguided it deserves an award-worthy sigh, unleash a heartfelt “Haiyaa”. This isn’t just any sigh; it’s a symphony of disappointment, an expression of utter disbelief. Let it echo long enough for everyone to feel the weight of their blunder. With “Haiyaa”, you’re not just expressing dissatisfaction, you’re turning your exasperation into a theatrical event that says, “I can’t believe you just said that.”
Encountered a comment so ridiculous it nearly knocked you off your chair?
Time to declare, “Uncle Roger so upset, I put my leg down from the chair!”. It’s like saying their statement was so shocking it made you abandon your relaxed, elevated position for a serious, grounded stance. This phrase adds a touch of dramatic flair, showing that their absurdity has genuinely rattled your usual calm demeanour.
Tired of people overcomplicating simple problems?
Simplify their convoluted mess with a cheeky “Just add MSG”. This is your magic phrase for cutting through the chaos, implying that the simplest solution is often the best. It’s your secret sauce, suggesting that all their elaborate efforts are nothing compared to your straightforward genius. Use it to remind everyone that sometimes, the answer is as simple as adding a dash of MSG.
Made a mistake and need to apologize?
Don’t just say sorry, add a twist of humour with “Sorry children.”. It’s like saying, “Even the wisest among us can slip up occasionally.” This playful phrase turns your admission of guilt into a light-hearted lesson, making your apology feel less like a defeat and more like a gracious acknowledgment of the learning process. It’s a fun way to show humility while keeping things entertaining!
Heard something so dumb it made you lose a brain cell?
Instead of a blank stare, let out a perplexed “Where your brain?”. This phrase is your ultimate tool for highlighting the sheer absurdity of a statement. It’s a rhetorical smackdown, hinting that their thought process is so bewildering, it must be lost somewhere. Use it to inject a dose of humour into the conversation, making it clear that you’re both amused and genuinely puzzled by their logic.

Russia-India cinematic spectacle Persimmon of My Love set for grand Moscow debut
Hindi cinema style musical revives Indo-Soviet cinema ties for today
MUMBAI: A new chapter in cross-border storytelling is set to unfold as Persimmon of My Love gears up for its premiere in Moscow on 1 April 2026, marking the first large-scale cinematic collaboration between Russia and India in decades.
Positioned as a modern nod to the cultural exchange that once brought Indian classics to Soviet audiences, the film blends Hindi cinema flair with Russian storytelling, aiming to rekindle a long-standing cinematic friendship.
Directed by Marius Weisberg, the musical comedy follows two brothers navigating a lively world of music, family and romance. The lead roles are played by Demis Karibidis and Mikhail Galustyan, with Karibidis also contributing as a screenwriter.
Shot entirely in India, the production leans heavily into Hindi cinema style spectacle. Filming took place across Mumbai studios and the cities of Udaipur and Jodhpur, whose architecture was used to create the fictional setting of Khurmada. A crew of over 350 worked on the project, with large-scale sequences featuring up to 1,000 extras.
The film also brings Indian creative talent into the mix. Dance sequences are choreographed by Jay Kumar, while music by Zurab Matua features songs in both Hindi and Russian, adding to its cross-cultural appeal.
Backed by TNT channel, MyWayStudio and the Russian Cinema Fund, the project reflects a broader push to strengthen cultural ties between the two countries.
With its mix of colour, comedy and cross-border collaboration, Persimmon of My Love is not just a film release but a reminder that cinema, much like music, travels well across borders.
