“Bharat ke Anmol” celebrates excellence, inspires greatness

Mumbai: ‘Bharat ke Anmol’ is an award ceremony that aims to empower visionaries and encourage innovators. The awards are a symbol of acknowledgment and appreciation for those who have made significant contributions to society, culture, arts, sciences, entrepreneurship, and beyond. This mega ceremony starting from 5 pm will take place on Monday, 31 July 2023 at Ambedkar International Centre Janpath, New Delhi. Many individuals and organisations who have been of importance to the country will be felicitated.

There is a long list of kalakars whose meaningful work is either forgotten or left unsung. The sports personalities who held our national flag high by uplifting the pride of Hindustan in many events or the classical dancers who dedicated their life at the feet of Nataraja. There are voices heard in line with the musical heritage of India. The academicians who sculpted the lives of many achievers who made us proud at different levels. The less privileged who fought their poverty to reach the pinnacle. The underrated scientific fraternity left unrecognized at various levels of inventions. You name the field, you will find the forgotten names and they actually made a distinct signature on the progress sheet of our country. The forgotten names deserve to be recognised and honoured. To address the void, here comes an initiative called Bharat Ke Anmol, a national award to pay respect to the precious gems of India in various sectors. It is also to be noted that the Bravehearts who fought the Kargil War will also be honoured and given utmost respect.

On the build-up to the program, Dr. Nizamuddin remarked, “Bharat ke Anmol is a significant event which commemorates the heroes of our country who had and have been of immense service to the country. It is to honour their deep dedication and to forever etch their names in history”. Dr Venkata K Ganjam, on the occasion, shared, “I am pleased to be a part of Bharat ke Anmol, a prestigious award-giving ceremony. With this endeavour, we hope to salute all those individuals and organisations who have made our country proud”.

Bharat ke Anmol Project is a brainchild of Dr Mohammad Nizamuddin and a group of like-minded individuals who have joined hands for this noble initiative. The project has been conceptualised by GKPR media house founder and CEO Dr. Venkata K Ganjam. Dr. Mohammad Nizamuddin, who is conferred with the most coveted award, The Global Peace Ambassador, is a man with an ideology and conviction. He belongs to a freedom fighters family and spent his early life in Narsaropet Palnadu District, Andhra Pradesh. His operations since many years are from Hyderabad and spread. He heads multiple business entities and is a management advisor to some international companies. As a part of philanthropic activity, doctor Nizamuddin is all set to launch an avoid event initiative across the nation titled Bharat ke Anmol. This is going to be a time machine from our past to remember the forgotten names of unforgettable service of individuals.

Scheduled for 14 and 15 February 2026 at the iconic Biswa Bangla Mela Prangan, Anime India Kolkata will launch the first regional chapter of what is set to be a year-long, multi-city tour. As the curtain-raiser for the 2026 circuit, the Kolkata edition aims to fuse the energy of global Japanese pop culture with India’s fast-growing community of anime, manga, and pop-culture fans.

Anime India Kolkata 2026 will showcase cosplay competitions, interactive zones led by the Indian Gunpla Community, India-39 Vocaloid Community, The Japan Curry, and Adda-o-Otaku by The Otaku Guild. Fans can join tournaments across fighting games, Pokémon VGC, and more. Acclaimed Japanese director Susumu Mitsunaka (Haikyu!!) will attend as guest of honour, appearing in panels and live sessions. Positioned as an immersive celebration of fan culture and industry collaboration, the Kolkata edition marks the beginning of Anime India’s nationwide expansion.

The debut edition of Anime India 2025 in Mumbai attracted over 29,000 fans, quickly cementing its status as a landmark celebration of anime and Japanese pop culture. Riding on this overwhelming response, the Kolkata chapter is projected to draw more than 40,000 visitors across two days, positioning it as one of the biggest anime conventions ever held in eastern India.
