Premiere of Ragini MMS planned for midnight
MUMBAI: Going by the facts that horror and ghost stories have always held the audience captivated, Ekta Kapoor has planned a distinctive premiere for her film Ragini MMS by slotting it for midnight.
Kapoor is also planning spine-chilling promotional activities leading up to the premiere. She is of the view that this kind of hype is needed for a film that has no big names to draw in crowds.
Ragini MMS is based on a couple going out for a holiday and how they get sucked into a paranormal world in the bungalow where they‘re living. Based on a real-life incident, the film is said to contain 30 per cent fact and the rest fiction.
Kapoor has purchased the rights of the film based on real life incidents from the lady that went through the experience.
The paranormal thriller was wrapped up in just 17 days. The film is being readied for a 13 May release in both Hindi and Telugu.
