MUMBAI: In order to offer integrated out-of-home solutions, the outdoor and retail units of Madison — Madison Outdoor Media Services (MOMS) and Madison Retail Paradigm (MRP) have announced restructuring at the senior management level.

Soumitra Bhattacharyya, the current COO of MOMS has been given additional responsibility of the MRP unit as well. He is now designated as the CEO of MOMS and MRP.

MRP COO Arunangsu Ghosh has been designated as the chief operating officer of MOMS and MRP.

MOMS which celebrated its fourth anniversary today, has built a strong network of offices in Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Chennai, Kochi and Kolkata with a formidable billing and roster of clients, including HBO, McDonalds, Asian Paints, Pizza Hut, Max New York Life, Titan, Aviva, ESPN, Kotak Group, Tata Chemicals and Marico amongst others. MOMS was responsible for the successful outdoor launch of Radio Mirchi and Zoom TV in the country.

MRP is the new avatar of Madison’s merchandising unit and was branded as a retail specialist in October last year.

Madison Communications chairman and managing director Sam Balsara, said, “Our retail design unit has been able to provide very useful inputs to MOMS in the area of out-of-home solutions and clients have found this input invaluable in enriching the overall quality of plan and execution of out-of-home solutions, including outdoor. The new structure institutionalises, what has worked informally for some time. Of course, the services of MOMS and MRP will also be available to clients on a stand- alone basis. The restructuring will help achieve the aggressive growth targets of both units.”

Bhattacharyya says, “Now a days the strategic intent of any campaign cannot be just restricted to traditional “Outdoor” but has to take into consideration the entire world of media opportunities that exists outside our homes. The word “Outdoor” has definitely been replaced by the words out of home. If that be the case, it was but natural to have total integration among our two units of MRP and MOMS. Our approach would thus be to provide solutions in the OOH environment which could very well start from the design stage (if need be) thus enriching our quality of services that we can provide for our clients.”
