Star News tells ‘Kahani Puri Filmi Hain’
MUMBAI: STAR News launches a new show dedicated on total filmi news and gupshup, to reduce fatigue and rejuvenate viewers interest.
Kahani Puri Filmi Hain, the daily segment will premiere on 2 April and air thrice a day at 7.30 am, 8.30 pm and 10.30 pm and daily.
The new segment will feature information from the behind the scenes and actions and report on news from the world of Bollywood, Hollywood, Tollywood and in general the filmi duniya.
Besides the above, the segment will offer the latest on inside gossips, film launches, on-location interviews, music launches and near real-time info on the glamorous world of films.
In a statement issued by Star News, by gauging the needs of the audience and in catering to these needs the channel introduces the show with news on the film world.
Debuting on Star News, Kahani Puri Filmi Hai follows on the heels of other highly successful programme innovations such as Sansani – crime-based special, Saas Bahu aur Saazish – a show which reports on the world of popular serials on television, Jaanbaaz – a bravery show and Insaaf Ka Taraazu – a law-based show, Red Alert and Pol Khol, informs the official statement.

News18 India launches Command Centre war explainer with Arya
New show shifts from debates to decoding global conflicts and impacts
MUMBAI: News18 India has rolled out a new war-focused programme, Command Centre, featuring Gaurav Arya, as it looks to offer viewers a sharper, more grounded take on global conflicts amid rising tensions in West Asia.
Positioned as an “insider war room”, the show moves away from conventional panel debates and instead focuses on explaining military developments, decoding strategy and connecting global events to their everyday impact, from fuel prices to economic shifts.
The format leans heavily on visuals and data. The studio has been designed like a command hub, complete with large LED war maps, real-time graphics and an alert system to track developments as they unfold.
At the centre of it all is Arya, who brings his military background to simplify complex war strategies for viewers. His signature line, “Seedhi baat samjhiye”, anchors the show’s promise of clarity over noise.

The weekday show will air in the afternoon slot and will also feature Gaurav Shukla, adding to its editorial depth.
