CNBC's Ethiraj, NDTV's Jain nominated for Teacher’s Achievement Awards

MUMBAI: Allied Domecq Spirits and Wines (India) has announced the nominees for the fourth Teacher’s Achievement Awards. The awards will be held in Delhi on 20 November 2004.
In the communication category CNBC-TV 18 corporate editor Govind Ethiraj and NDTV Mumbai beuareau chief Srinivasan Jain are among those competing for recognition. The sports category sees crickets 'wall' Rahul Dravid competing against car racer Narain Karthikeyan and badminton ace P Gopichand. The entertainment catregory sees Farhan Akhtar going up against actor Rahul Bose and director Santosh Sivan.
he media partners for the event are Radio Mirchi, NDTV and India Today. NDTV will telecast the event on 27 November 2004.
The awards recognise individual merit, with the twin objective of honouring excellence as well as exhorting others to scale new heights. This award programme is supported by Teacher’s 50, the Scotch whisky brand.
