• MediaCom named M&M Media Agency Network of the Year 2011

    Mumbai: MediaCom has been named Media Agency Network of The Year at the 2011 M&M Awards, for the third year running. This is the first time in the history of the awards that an agency has retained the title for three successive years.

    The M&M Awards recognise and celebrate leading multi-market advertising campaigns, the most innovative and effective work and the finest co-ordination of multi-local advertising strategies.

    At the ceremony in London last night, Stephen Allan, Chairman and CEO of MediaCom Worldwide, picked up the award on behalf of the network. MediaCom also picked up 6 awards for individual campaigns for AkzoNobel, P&G, Dell and Deutsche Telekom and received 4 Highly Commended mentions.

    The extent of MediaCom?s domination was underlined by the number of campaigns that the network had shortlisted ? 29 entries in total across 10 categories, representing more than 40% of the total shortlist. MediaCom had more than three times more shortlists than its nearest rival.

    Stephen Allan said: ?It is an incredible feat to be Agency Network of the Year three times in a row.     Mumbai, August 29, 2011: Perfect Relations Pvt. Ltd., South Asia‘s leading image management consultancy announced the appointment of a senior team to beef up its southern region operations. In sync with the changing needs of the market, and growing client expectations from the PR industry, the agency has appointed Ipshita Sen, as the Regional Director for Strategy and planning and Navin Nair as Branch Director, Bangalore.

They will be responsible for providing strategy consulting to clients across the market which includes states of Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh and Kerala.

    Ipshita has over 15 years of experience in the communication industry, with an in-depth understanding of Advertising, PR and Corporate Communications. Her strength lies in strategizing and implementing communication campaigns both in mature and emerging markets of Asia, Europe and North Africa. Ipshita also brings with her the experience of leveraging and seamlessly integrating global platforms such as the World Economic Forum and Clinton Global Initiative into international media outreach programmes to build profiles of C-level executives. She has worked with brands as diverse as P&G, Citibank, Ford Motor Company, Dabur, National Aluminum and Gulf Finance House. Prior to Perfect Relations, she was associated with Rediffusion DY&R, Leo Burnett and Young & Rubicam, in India and across South East Asian and Middle Eastern markets. With a degree in Finance, Ipshita has had the experience of managing communications protocols and regulatory requirements of companies seeking to list on various stock exchanges.

    Navin Nair, has over 10 years of work experience in the Bangalore market and has worked on the client as well as the agency side. His experience spans across corporate and brand PR. He is known for his strong networking skills and efficient deliveries for clients spread across varied industry sectors.
