    MUMBAI: Zee TV proudly announces the winner of the largest dance reality show, ?Maruti Suzuki DANCE INDIA DANCE?. The show that created history in Indian television industry went LIVE from Shahaji Raje Krida Sankul (Andheri Sports Complex), Mumbai on April 21st on Zee TV from 8 pm onwards. In an intense, nerve-racking finish Rajsmitha Kar was voted the winner by millions of viewers from across the nation. One astounding act was by Rajasmita Kar from Geeta ki Gang where 24 dancers along with Rajasmita hung in mid air with the help of a truss. Sanam Johar did a jaw dropping mirror ball act. Dil Ki Rani, Mohena?s act with a huge Venetian mask. Raghav Crockroaz Juyal?s performed with a huge crocodile?s face as a prop. Pradeep Gurung?s ?Shaolin? act infused with freestyle and parkour. To add a touch of comedy this year?s finale also saw gags by Ali Asgar. Ali dressed himself like Aamir Khan?s character in the movie Delhi Belly and became the first ever item boy - the disco fighter! Along with Jay Bhanushali and Saumya Tandon, Manish Paul also co-anchored the event. For the very first time, Remo pledged his MJ band to an audience who matched his steps the best! The audience frenzy was to be seen to be believed!

  • Greenathon 4 - Bigger, Faster, Stronger and Greener

    New Delhi : The NDTV-TOYOTA Greenathon is back and in its fourth year promises to be bigger, faster, stronger and greener. Actor and Model, Milind Soman began his Green Run this morning from Delhi to Mumbai, accompanied by the Eco Task Force jawans of the Territorial Army. Starting from the capital?s iconic symbol, the Qutab Minar, the run will cover 1500km in a span of 30 days, and ends at the Yashraj Studio in Mumbai on 20th May, where Greenathon 4 will have its gala annual event. The Green Run was flagged off at 8:30 am by Ms Jayanthi Natarajan, Minister for Environment and Forests. Actor Rahul Bose, Kartikeya Sarabhai, Founder-Director, CEE, Colonel Pradeep Sandhir, Commanding Officer, 132 ETF, Rajput Regiment, along with Milind?s family, friends and school children on roller skates were also present to support the runners.

    The Green Run started as a 24-hour run in Greenathon?s first year, which then progressed to a 100 kilometer run in the second year. Milind Soman and team took a huge leap for Greenathon 3, running from Ahmedabad to Mumbai, over 550 kilometers in 15 days. The fourth edition of the Greenathon has Milind attempting a 1500 km run from Delhi to Mumbai in just 30 days.

    Announcing the NDTV-Toyota Greenathon 4, Vikram Chandra, CEO, NDTV Group said, "We would like to take this opportunity to thank Priyanka and Milind for extending their support to the cause and for being a part of NDTV?s initiative.     Milind?s Green Run route will take him from Delhi through Haryana, Rajasthan, Gujarat and Maharashtra, ending at the Yashraj Studios in Mumbai. Through the run, Milind will address key environmental concerns and participate in nature and wildlife related activities along the route such as tree planting and nature camps to spread the green message.

    "Greenathon on Wheels", the NDTV Glass Bus will follow Milind during the entire run and act as a pledge wall where people can come and extend their support with signatures on the bus. There will be daily live programming with Milind and reports on the Green Run on the NDTV Network as well as on the portal green.ndtv.com. Viewers will be able to chat with Milind on the NDTV portal and also post messages for him. Milind will also reach out to many people through Radio broadcasts, with a call to come and join him and be a part of the Green Run.

    Greenathon 4?s Brand Ambassador Priyanka Chopra launched the fourth edition of the campaign on 9th April on the banks of Yamuna River in Agra. She was joined at the site by Abhishek Mishra, Minister of State for Protocol, UP, NDTV?s Group CEO Vikram Chandra and Green Runner Milind Soman, among others, for a clean up drive to spread the green message.

    Mumbai: "Ninety nine years ago, on April 21st 1913 Dada Saheb Phalke screened - Raja Harish Chandra, India‘s first full length feature film. It was a glorious event as it marked the beginning of what turned out to be the ultimate source of entertainment for the country.

    It gave all Indians what we love the most, Music and Movies. April 21st 2012 dawns the 100th year of Indian Cinema, and Music India, India‘s favourite Bollywood music channel commemorates this day by taking all its viewers through Indian cinema‘s hundred illustrious years, decade by decade, all day.

    With the best of the songs, interesting anecdotes and archive info, viewers are in store for a delightful treat.
