Music India celebrates 100 years of Indian cinema

Mumbai: "Ninety nine years ago, on April 21st 1913 Dada Saheb Phalke screened - Raja Harish Chandra, India‘s first full length feature film. It was a glorious event as it marked the beginning of what turned out to be the ultimate source of entertainment for the country.

It gave all Indians what we love the most, Music and Movies. April 21st 2012 dawns the 100th year of Indian Cinema, and Music India, India‘s favourite Bollywood music channel commemorates this day by taking all its viewers through Indian cinema‘s hundred illustrious years, decade by decade, all day.

With the best of the songs, interesting anecdotes and archive info, viewers are in store for a delightful treat.

Don‘t forget to watch it all day on Saturday, 21 April, 7 am onwards only on Music India.
