International Emmy earmarks 1 April as last day to receive entries

MUMBAI: International Emmy Awards board has asked the producers of television shows outside of the United States to submit their entries for the International Emmy Awards.

Last date to submit the entries at the International Academy of Television Arts and Sciences is 1 April 2004.

The academy has invited entries from the show producers, for the shows broadcast outside of the US between 1 May 2003 and 31 March 2004. The awards will be presented at a gala dinner in New York City on 22 November 2004.

The shows should falls into one of the following categories: arts programming, children and young people, comedy, documentary, drama series, news coverage, non-scripted entertainment or TV movie/ mini-series, says a company release.
