After Dubai, Zee Cine Awards set to rock London

MUMBAI: Last year they rocked Dubai, this year London will sizzle as the Zee Network takes the Zee Cine Awards to the land of the Queen! The eighth edition of the Zee Cine Awards will be held this year on 26 March at the ExCeL Arena, Docklands, London.

Zee Cine Awards showcases and honours the best talent in the Indian film industry. The tickets for the London show are available at various ticket agents and the Excel box office. Prices for tickets are in different categories as per the seating plan.

An interesting new sales strategy that is being attempted this year is to rope in "telecast presenting sponsors" regionwise. The plan is to have different sponsors the UK/Europe, US, Middle East, South Africa and of course India (South Asia comes under that).

While last year the awards were sponsored by Pan Parag, this year the title sponsor will be ITC Sunfeast. Zee has also roped in All Out, LIC, Ghadi, Paas Paas and Provogue as the co-sponsors (for the India territory).

The presenting sponsor for UK/Europe is Southall Travel and co-sponsor is East End.

The awards will be attended by the likes of Aishwarya Rai, Shah Rukh Khan, Preity Zinta, Salman Khan and Zayed Khan.

The 15 award categories for the Zee Cine Awards are Best Film, Best Director, Best Actor (Male and Female), Best actor in a supporting role (Male and Female), Best performance in a comic role, Best performance in a negative role, Most popular track of the year, Best Music Director, Best Playback Singer (Male and Female), Best Lyricist, Most Promising Director and Most Promising Debut.
