Fashion TV debuts on Hong Kong broadband, launches new series 'Shoot me'

MUMBAI: The International fashion-dedicated TV channel, Fashion TV has now begun its operation on Hongkong cable and broadband TV. The channel that broadcasts in over 132 countries will now welcome an additional 300,000 new homes in the strategic fashion and trading center of Asia
Announced by the FTV president Michel Adam, Hong Kong service, previously aired on I cable channel 52, was launched almost a month back on broadband TV in Hong Kong. FTV will focus further on the development of models and fashion in Asia. With a reach over 500 million viewers, Fashion TV is the first and unique channel dedicated to fashion, beauty and lifestyle.
That apart, the channel has launched new micro-series called Shoot me! produced by film and musical director Michael White and created by director Tony Hickox. A 'scripted reality' feature film, shown as a three-minute chuncks, is based on a model called Jake, a British northern girl played by Alexa Chung, who arrives in London to begin a career as an agency model. The 20-part series features appearances by celebrities Yasmin Le Bon and Victoria Hervey. The clothing is provided by famous designers like Alexander McQueen, Vivienne Westwood and Chloe.


Jake, a young Northern girl, begin her exciting career as a model for 'Isis' model agency and starts living with new flat mates in a 'top floor' flat. The light hearted show uncovers the emotional rollercoaster that is the fashion world.
