WWE expands VoD service in the US

MUMBAI: World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) has announced that it has expanded the reach of its subscription video on demand service (SVoD) WWE 24/7 in the US.

WWE has signed an agreement with Insight Communications, a leading multi system operator. It has also inked carriage deals with Click! Network and MetroCast.

Insight claims to be the ninth largest MSO in the US with 1.3 million subscribers across Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky and Ohio. WWE 24/7 is available worldwide through cable and satellite multi-channel television providers. It leverages the WWEs 75,000-hour library. WWE has also acquired the libraries of the now defunct WCW, ECW and AWA.
