Ten Sports to telecast Pak-Windies tour live

MUMBAI: Ten Sports will telecast Pakistan's historic tour of West Indies live. The two-test series kicks off on 26 May at the Kensington Oval in Barbados. The second and last Test will be played at Jamaica from 3 June - 7 June.

Pakistan has never won a Test series against West Indies in its previous five tours to the Caribbean Islands. Their best result was a 1-1 draw in 1988 under the leadership of Imran Khan.

With their confidence sky high following a 4-2 win in One-Day International against arch rivals India after being 0-2 down, and the 3-0 win earlier this week against the hosts, Pakistan will look forward to taste their first success against the West Indies, states an official release.

Pakistan will miss the services of their skipper and premier batsman, Inzamam-ul Haq, and all-rounder Shoaib Malik, both serving a one-Test match ban. Inzamam was imposed a one-Test ban by ICC for excessive appealing and showing dissent during his last Test against India in Bangalore, while Shoaib was disciplined by the Pakistan Cricket Board for throwing a domestic 20/20 match in Lahore prior to the team's departure for the series. Younis Khan will lead the young Pakistani side in the absence of Inzamam.

West Indies will be bolstered by the return of world record holder Brian Lara, who was rested for the three one-day internationals against Pakistan. However, recent history will be against the West Indies, who have lost their last four Test matches at Kensington Oval, the release adds.
