Raj TV's 'Ladies Junction' completes 100 episodes

MUMBAI: Raj TV's half hour daily show Ladies Junction recently completed 100 episodes. The show, which airs from Monday to Friday at 6:30 pm is a women's road show anchored by Suhasini Manirathnam (wife of ace director Manirathnam).

Ladies Junction focuses on the problems faced by women and has covered 23 towns in Tamil Nadu till now. The show has different segments like travelogue, female and male achievers, best joint family, cookery and Panchayat. The show wraps up with Suhasini's verdict on the issues that were debated.

Says Raj TV vice president sales and marketing B Shankar, "This is one of the most successful shows we have and it has been getting a whole lot of fan mails. Ladies Junction has completed 100 episodes and we are very happy about that."

Produced by Citadel Video, the show has got rave responses from the people of Tamil Nadu. Says Citadel Video managing director Murli, "Ladies Junction is a show where we travel from one town to another and address social problems. The response we have got from the people of different towns is simply awesome; however it is not possible for us to go to all the towns. But we will be looking at covering as many towns as possible."
